About Us:

As part of Portsmouth High School's 135th Birthday, the school is fundraising for a Climbing Wall For All to be installed in our impressive sports hall. The Climbing Wall will be available to local community groups including other local schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and as an occupational therapy facility to provide wide-reaching benefits to the local community.

Climbing has grown into a mainstream exercise activity and has recently been made an Olympic sport which will feature in the Tokyo games for the first time in 2020. Climbing wall activities have been shown to provide a physically demanding environment enabling climbers to move outside personal 'comfort zones'.

We need your help so we can build the climbing wall which will benefit the wider local community.

Thank you for your support.

With best wishes

Mrs Lucinda Webb

Director of Communications, Portsmouth High School
